Project Management
Overview of TekToro's project management suite including tasks, kanban, and calendar.
TekToro's project management module provides a connected set of tools for planning, executing, and tracking work across your organization.
Interconnected Tools
The module consists of six tightly integrated views:
- Projects — create and manage projects with budgets, timelines, and team membership.
- Tasks — break projects down into actionable items with assignments, subtasks, and attachments.
- Kanban Board — visualize task workflow across status columns with drag-and-drop.
- Calendar — view events, task due dates, and project milestones on a unified calendar.
- Project Calendar — a week-based timeline showing project and task schedules side by side.
- Projects Dashboard — aggregated metrics including progress charts, task breakdowns, and team workload analysis.
How They Work Together
Projects serve as the top-level container. Each project can have multiple tasks, and each task can have subtasks. Tasks appear automatically on the Kanban Board (grouped by status) and on the Calendar (by due date). The Projects Dashboard pulls metrics from all active projects and tasks to give administrators and managers a real-time overview.
When a project is linked to a client, all associated work — tasks, tickets, and invoices — flows through to client reporting and billing.
Permissions
- projects.view — view projects and associated data
- projects.create — create new projects
- projects.update — edit project details and manage members
- projects.delete — delete projects
- projects.view_all — see all projects regardless of membership (without this, users only see projects they are members of)
- tasks.view / tasks.create / tasks.update / tasks.delete — corresponding task-level permissions
