TekToro's HR and Team Management module gives administrators and managers the tools to onboard team members, manage contracts, monitor compliance, and configure granular access controls — all from a single interface.

Key Features

  • HR Dashboard — at-a-glance metrics including team size, active contracts, compliance rate, and upcoming renewals.
  • Team Members — invite, manage, and review detailed profiles for employees, contractors, and client contacts.
  • Contract Management — create and track employment and contractor contracts with status lifecycle management.
  • Compliance Monitoring — automated alerts for missing documents, expired contracts, incomplete onboarding, and certificate expirations.

Member Types

TekToro supports three member types, each with different access levels and capabilities:

  • Employee — a full team member with access to internal tools, time tracking, and project collaboration.
  • Contractor — an external team member who submits work tickets, manages invoicing, and maintains their own business settings.
  • Client — a portal-only user with restricted access to view their company's invoices, projects, and approved work items.

Integration with Other Modules

The HR module connects directly with:

  • Invoicing — contractor settings (invoice prefix, billing rates, payment terms) feed into the invoicing workflow.
  • Projects — team members are assigned to projects, which controls task assignment eligibility.
  • Onboarding — new members complete a structured wizard that populates their HR profile, job details, and compliance documents.
  • Documents — HR documents (contracts, certifications, insurance) are stored in the centralized document library.

Permissions

  • hr.view — view the HR dashboard, team members, and contracts
  • hr.create — create new contracts
  • hr.update — edit existing contracts
  • hr.delete — delete contracts
  • hr.view_contract_rates — view billing and project rates on contracts

The HR Management section in the sidebar provides access to:

  • Dashboard — KPIs and summary metrics
  • Team Members — detailed member listing and profiles
  • Contracts — contract creation and management
  • Compliance Alerts — outstanding compliance issues (with a badge showing critical alert count)
